OXO’s Tis’ the Season for Freezin’ campaign is all about the make-ahead recipe. And those are at the top of my list during the holiday season. Even more so this year, since I’m spending all my time learning the ropes of mommyhood instead of baking things up in the kitchen.

With OXO’s Glass Bakeware, side dishes and desserts are as easy as 1-2-3. Just gather your ingredients, store overnight, and bake the next day. One of my new favorites to make in their 1.6-Quart Loaf Dish is this Eggnog-Glazed Cinnamon Roll Monkey Loaf. Whether it’s breakfast Christmas morning or brunch with the girlfriends, everyone is sure to love the warm, holiday flavors in this dish!

OXO’s Glass 1.6 Qt Loaf Baking Dish and Glass 9″ Pie Plate are great for homemade breads, pound cakes, pies, quiches and monkey bread, like this one! They are both made of thermal shock resistant borosilicate glass and can go from freezer to oven without the need to thaw. The handles and rim are sized for hands big & small, which make it easy to transport dishes from oven to countertop or table. The pie plate is perfect to use when coating the cinnamon roll pieces with cinnamon & sugar!

The natural boar bristles on OXO’s 1″ Pastry Brush pick up and hold glaze, egg wash or sauces really well. The heads are angled to keep them elevated and prevent drips on the countertop, and the handle is soft and comfortable, letting you brush delicate pastries with ease.

Eggnog-Glazed Cinnamon Roll Monkey Loaf

Ingredients

  • 2 (17.5 oz) cans Pillsbury Grands! cinnamon rolls, reserve the frosting
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 c granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 c eggnog

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat OXO's 1.6-Quart Loaf Baking Dish with cooking spray and set aside. Combine the sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in OXO's 9-inch Glass Pie Plate and set this aside, as well.

Open and separate the cinnamon rolls, cutting each roll into 4 pieces. Dip each piece into the melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-nutmeg-sugar mixture. Arrange in the prepared loaf pan, packing the pieces into two layers.

Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the loaf is golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes. While cooling, combine the eggnog in a small bowl with the cinnamon roll icing from the packages, whisking until smooth. Brush this on the loaf while warm. Break apart and serve!
